The Neighbourhood

Böhmisch-Rixdorf is one of Berlin's most historically rich locations. The settlement of the area dates back to 1737, with an immigrant arrival from the Bohemian regions. What sets the location apart is the many charming Remise houses, found around the area´s quaint squares. These were in days long gone an important part of preparing our 4 legged equine friends ahead of long journeys south and east. Today, the area is part of the hip and happening Neukölln. Whilst retaining so much of its old-world charm and character, the area's courtyards are now teaming with entertainment and watering holes for the human variety. Cafes, bars, and restaurants take up the pavements of the tree-lined cobblestone streets.
